The /200 project
I Will Not Let Him Win In Death
The original title for this project references a victim impact statement made by Chauntae Davies in the wake of Jeffrey Epstein"s death. The title was changed to /200 after the first two exhibitions where the piece was made public. The decision came from the desire to no longer focus on the abuser, but instead focus solely on the survivor and their growth. While the number 200 reflects the $200 which Epstein paid victims it emphasizes the worth placed on a lifetime of rebuilding and instead focuses on the number of people actively ending cycles of abuse.
